demand, I decided to post high-resolution maps of the following cities on
this page:

These maps are
from my very-beat-up Australia Touring Atlas that I bought soon after I
landed in Sydney in 2001. During the next two months, this atlas was
my constant companion as I traveled over 9,000 miles around Australia.
In fact, if you look close enough, you'll probably see some of my
scribbled notes on them.
These maps are
pretty large, so they're best viewed if you have broadband connection.
After clicking on a thumbnail, hover your mouse over the lower right
corner of the map until you see an orange box. If you click on the
orange box, you'll see an enlarged view of the map.
