1). My Dad & Lila   Bellingham, Washington (April 2001)

I spent about two months during the spring of 2001 getting ready for my trip around America.  During that time, I drove up to my Dad’s house in Bellingham a few times. Here's my Dad in his favorite chair and my sister's cat, Lila, in her favorite lap.  Lila's affectionate but she's also pretty insistent about getting her "lap time" at night.
