Lake
City, Colorado (1987)
The best job I ever had was working as a ranger
for six years in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado for
the Bureau of Land Management. It was a lot of work and it didn't pay
much, but it was also a lot of fun and a lifelong dream. This is my 1987 crew. L to R: "Ranger Del", Laurie, Todd, Stuart, and Bob.
I hadn't been back to Lake City for several years and was glad to see that
it hadn't changed much.
