The Three Sisters
Blue
Mountains, near Katoomba,
Australia
(Feb. 2002)
The Blue Mountains are Australia's version of
the Appalachians. Like the Appalachians, the Blue Mountains run
north-south in the eastern part of the country and are very old.
No moonshiners here, though, and instead of hickory and oak
trees, the Blues are covered with eucalyptus trees. This is at Echo Point, a
couple hours from Sydney.
