After traveling around America, New Zealand and Australia, then spending some time at my dad's house after he passed away, I went back to work with my former company, Parsons Brinckerhoff, a large transportation engineering firm -- although in their Seattle office, not in Portland. My office was in the building to the left, up towards the top of the photo. It was nice to live and work in Seattle for a few years, but I sure missed Portland.
