9).  Joan, Ace and Julie with their New Grill    Austin, Texas (June 2001)

I spent several days in Austin visiting some old family friends, Joan and Ace (left) and their daughter Julie.  One night while cooking steaks on his old grill, Ace almost roasted himself, thus providing the evening's entertainment.  To celebrate her parent's 46th anniversary, the ever-thoughtful Julie bought her folks a brand-new grill – complete with fire extinguisher.
