I'd driven through southern Louisiana many times before but I'd never camped at this wonderful park with the funny name. The campsites here are next to a swamp and the chorus of crickets and bull frogs that night cracked me up. While eating breakfast the next morning I spotted this egret looking for his (or her) breakfast. This is one of my 10 Favorite State Parks in the U.S.
